Inside

The double bed sits in its own teal-painted alcove at the end of the hut, with a window over the fields. Up front, two leather armchairs face a window that opens onto the trees.

Underfloor heating keeps the hut warm in any season, and wall lamps and fairy lights make it glow at night.

The kitchenette

There's everything you need for simple meals: a two-ring hob, mini oven, mini fridge, kettle and toaster, plus a basin, crockery and cutlery.

We also leave a few extras, like fresh milk, eggs and bread, and bathroom supplies.

Your shower room

Your private shower room is in its own little hut, a few steps across the gravel. Inside are a walk-in shower, toilet, basin and heated towel rail, with fresh towels ready for you.

Open the top of the stable door and you can see the valley while you get ready.

Outside

The hut has its own gravel terrace, with a mosaic bistro table, sun loungers, a fire pit and a barbecue. Past the fence, the view runs across the valley. On clear nights you'll see a sky full of stars.

Absolutely everything, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The views, oh my god, absolutely breathtaking. Especially the sunset and waking up early to see the fog over the hills, gorgeous. It is so peaceful out there and no light pollution so you can see all the stars at night. The hut was so cute and cosy, everything you need and the bed was unbelievably comfy we had such a good sleep. The bathroom was also lovely. Loved that we had some fresh eggs for breakfast, very tasty. Michaela was more than happy to take us to meet the animals also and they were so cute and well looked after and clearly very loved, so affectionate, was lovely to learn about them and the family. Shops, takeaways, restaurants and more all close by, we visited Puzzlewood and the four waterfalls whilst there. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back, I highly recommend.

Everything we wanted and more

What was there not to like?! It was the ideal accommodation, absolutely stunning views and just as beautiful at night to sit out under the stars. We had everything we needed there. It's still in a close proximity to small towns nearby but further enough away that you can really just switch off, relax and enjoy the surroundings. They couldn't have been more accommodating and were such lovely people who truly put their hearts into this space and it shows. Cannot recommend this place enough and we hope to come back again very soon!

Lovely peaceful location, the extra touches with the bathroom supplies, milk, eggs and bread was lovely to use. Although we stayed there for one night, it was fantastic. Such a great nights sleep with the windows wide open. We would have loved to have stayed longer. We will come back again.
